  Excellent food, helpful, friendly staff and very dog friendly , didn't even mind when my dog knocked over his bowl of water in his haste to say hello to everyone - he's very sorry by the way! would highly recommend.

  Always love it here, really quirky old school pub with lovely food and drink. Tables out the front and back, great for a drink when it's sunny!

  I visited here with my wife. We called up and they were fully booked, but promised to keep the first table that became free, which they did. All of the staff that we met were super nice and very helpful. I had the aranchini which were superb and my wife the black pudding crockets which were also excellent. Both starters made a change from the usual. We followed this up with a more traditional roast & fish n chips. No complaints here! Too full to have desert! Will be going back.
